Just a quick note to let you all know some of the exciting new projects lined up for you on the Red Brolly Blog for this year.

 

The Girls Own Sewing Bag.

  To start the year rolling, I've designed a new Sewing Bag with a Strawberry Scissors Keep- to hold all your sewing necessities. 

  I know every sewer needs something pretty to keep all those projects in.

The Girls Own Stitching Club.

This is a truly exciting new monthly sewing adventure!

Because so many of you have asked to know more about embroidery-I'll be continuing the embroidery tutorials we started last year-with a review of the stitches we've already done and some fantastic new stitches ( among the new stitches are granitos, rosette and some darling grub roses).

I'll be giving you the new stitch and a tutorial on how it's done, plus a small stitchery design to complete each month which can be made into little pincushions, cushions or use all of them in a quilt.

      The designs for you to stitch are all to do with the garden.

  Plus there's all new projects, new scrummy recipes, information and inspiration- and a new competition!

  Charge up your needles- and check back on Wednesday for the first gorgeous, exciting instalment!
