Lovely stitching...a Red Brolly swap

I really love looking through my flickr photos and my facebook page at what people create using my patterns, you can imagine my excitement when I came across a Red Brolly swap with an online stitching group of lovely ladies called "Friends in Stitching!" They have stitched and shared some wonderful creations and I thought that I would show them off to everyone.

There were lots of gorgeous stitching to choose from and I've just selected a few, but everyone was very creative. Please forgive me if I accidently get the name of the stitcher incorrect....

RB-SWAP-1Here's my Angel Apron stitched by Teresa from All Things Vintage.

The funny thing is, is that Teresa stitched it for her swap partner and hoped to make one for herself, but, unfortunately she ran out of time. You can imagine her delight when she received this package in the post from her swap partner, Peg from Happy in Quilting.

The very same apron, but the stitched version! Lucky her!

Not part of the swap, but I just wanted to share Peg's other Angel apron and teatowel that she made...

Back to more swapping...

RB-SWAP-3

Vicky stitched a Teana purse for her partner, and she received the Sewing Carryall and pincushion in return, all made by Jenny M.

RB-SWAP-5

Fiona, received this bag which was adapted from my Easter Googy Egg bag pattern and this lovely stitched coaster...(note how neat that binding has been stitched!). I know Fiona would've been delighted as she loves purple!

There was also a....

which were made by Leanne, and the cookbook was put together by Dawnie from Itching for Stitching. Wasn't that a great idea? I tried to get a larger photo so you could see it a bit better, unfortunately, I couldn't make it happen.

As I said, I wish that I could've shown you everyone's, but there was just so many to choose from, but a big congratulations to all the "Friends in Stitching."

Whilst we're in the sharing mood, I thought that I would show you a finished version of my Fairy Garden Quilt, made by Meg. It's just stunning in my favourite colour-red.

Here's a finished Bunny pincushion by Fiona R.

I also have to show you these great bags which have been finished. The first is the Nowra Bag by Sissel,

Bravo to all! Thank you for sharing with us and allowing us to see your projects.

There's one more which I'd like to share...a gorgeous version of my Catalicious Quilt by MariaRe. You can see more of it in my Flickr group, but she really has done a fabulous job and has created a real treasured quilt.

What a fabulous collection! It must give you so much pleasure to see all the projects made with your patterns, all so different too. I loved the Catalicious quilt, I have done all the stitcheries but am not much of a designer so have got a bit stuck! This has inspired me to have another look. Cheers, Karan

Such a talented bunch of sewers!

Our Red Brolly swap was just so much fun, I was lucky enough to receive the gorgeous cook folder from Dawnie....and the aprons were so much fun to make....totally love stitching your girls and watching them come to life.. thanks so much for showing my goodies....

I loved this swap so much. I was the lucky one who made an apron and received one from Peg.... I love the aprons so much and was thrilled to bits to get one made for me. Such wonderful patterns and the "girls" are just so much fun to embroider and applique. Thanks so much for showing off all the lovely projects our group made.

I am lucky to belong to the FIS Girls and they are such a talented bunch of ladies and share our love of handmade.
Thanks Bronwyn for sharing all those wonderful pictures of not just our Group, but others too made from your wonderful patterns x

WOW! We are famous... thank you for sharing our lovely projects on your blog. I'm so pleased I suggested the girls share the photos on your facebook page. We all enjoyed making your wonderful projects :)

Is this what it feels like to have your name up in lights? I was the recipient of the gorgeous cushion from Leanne and the maker of the coaster for Fiona.

What a lovely surprise to see the Cookbook I made for Peg on your blog. I received a gorgeous bag "Petal Blossom Bag" from Lynda. We have such a great bunch of stitchers in our group and it is always exciting to do a swap as all the girls stitch beautifully.

very lovely ...the stitching amazing....you go girl...
love seeing your illustrations and quilts.

Bronwyn, you have such a fun blog!! These are all wonderful. I've stitched just a few of the Catalicious blocks for individual little projects (and to keep my hands busy) and so enjoyed them!

Such a talented bunch of sewers!
