Feather your nest:: How to decorate with quilts.

An idea to decorate using your quilts is to use your quilts as artwork.

This photo is from Ka Du Sei, posted into my flickr group. Hasn't she made a beautiful display using my "Christmas Wish" quilt?

A tip for caring for your quilt...

To protect your quilt when it's not on display, store it in a cool place with good air circulation. Be careful of the humidity as this will affect the storage of the quilt. Your quilts should never be stored in the basement or attic. Always use acid-free tissue paper and acid-free boxes, which are chemically neutral, which will shield the textile from materials that might leach acids into the fabric. Your quilts should never be stored in plastic bags. The bags won't allow the fabric to breathe and can trigger the growth of mildew and mold.
