Rain!
Sounds silly- but after ten or so years of drought-Lookit this!
Yes - RAINDROPS!!
And this ....
BRUTUS!!
And Looky here-
Yes- GRASS! Most of you look out your windows and see GREEN- I've been looking out the windows for years now at brown dirt where the lawn used to be. Now, the grass is coming back. You've no idea how depressing it's been to watch the garden slowly die. We've had water restrictions for so long!

Glad you are getting some rain. I would hate to see brown all the time. But we have had white for several months now but I think spring is coming.

How lovely for you. Yes we take our green grass for granted and often complain when it grows to fast and we have to mow yet again. Just wanted to thank you again for those lovely cat designs, you are so generous. I just love your quirky ladies and also those cute little critters like your little ladybirds. I hope you continue to get some lovely showers, enough to keep your garden flourishing.
Blessings Gail

Hi Bronwyn
Like others here in NZ, I guess we take the rain for granted
but there are some areas here that are suffering bad dry spells at the moment...
in Wellington we are moaning because we have had so much great weather...and today it is a cold southerly with thunder and hail forcast later on this evening....to coin an old phrase "we don't know how lucky we are".....
enjoy the rain and the new grass growth...:)

Yay Bronwyn!!! How lovely for you! We've had some lovely rain here too and everything is greening up nicely. We are on tank water at this house so really appreciate the rain. It's been so hard moving from the lushness of tropical far north Queensland to here but we're doing OK! Poor Brutus though! hee hee Do you always hang him out like that when he's wet??? LOL

How lovely for you! I wish, I could give some of our snow, rain and more snow and more rain. This winter is so long here in Germany.
Enjoy your weekend!

How lovely that you finally are getting rain! No wonder Brutus is swinging on the clothes line (I love your illustrations:) ). I live in one of the wettest places in Norway, we are always complaining about the rain. But this winter has been long and snowy - yesterday it rained properly for the first time in months - wonderful!

So happy you are getting rain! Here in the Midwest part of the States we are having an "old fashioned" winter like when I was a child. Cold and snow.
